Located at 1200 W. Florida Avenue (at the corner of Florida and Platte River Drive), Ruby Hill Park is one of the key attractions of our neighborhood. With hills that provide fantastic views of Denver, plenty of open space and amenities, and an easily accessed location, the park is a great place for family and friends to gather.
Facilities include a picnic shelter, picnic tables, benches, playground, outdoor pool, sculptures, restrooms, baseball/softball field, bike/pedestrian path, natural areas, drinking fountain, flower beds, and a pavilion.

Levitt Pavilion
Levitt Pavilion Denver is a large outdoor amphitheater located in Ruby Hill Park. The pavilion is run by the Levitt Pavilion Denver non-profit and was built as part of a nationwide network of Levitt pavilions, which are designed to provide free or low-cost live music performances to the community, with a focus on local and emerging artists. Levitt Pavilion offers over 50 free concerts each year, featuring a diverse range of musical genres, including rock, country, hip-hop, and jazz. They also host ticketed events for fundraising purposes and to showcase more well-known artists.
In addition to its concerts and events, the Levitt Pavilion also serves as a hub for community activities, including outdoor fitness classes, workshops, and educational programs. With its stunning setting and wide range of programming, the Levitt Pavilion in Ruby Hill Park is a must-visit destination for music lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enjoy the best of Denver's cultural offerings.

Rail Yard
Ruby Hill Rail Yard, Denver’s one-of-a-kind urban terrain park for skiers and snowboarders, typically opens annually in early January (weather permitting). Located at the intersection of Platte River Drive and Jewell Avenue in Ruby Hill Park, the rail yard provides a FREE winter snowsport experience in an urban setting. It’s an annual collaborative effort between Denver Parks and Recreation, Winter Park Resort and Christy Sports. The features consist of varying configurations and skill levels including a number of beginner-friendly boxes and rails. Free rental gear is also generally available, although the times and requirements vary.

Bike Park
In the summer of 2016, Ruby Hill Park became host to a world-class mountain bike park where riders of all skill levels can come and practice biking skills. At 7.5 acres, Ruby Hill Bike Park features a slope-style course, dirt jumps, pump tracks, and a skills course. The slope-style course and dirt jumps provide lines of varying difficulty from beginner to advanced, with a special expert slope-style line to challenge and entertain professional riders.
Two pump tracks -small and large- will provide opportunities for all ages and skill levels, from small children with pedal-less bicycles to seasoned adult riders. The skills course allows beginner and intermediate riders to test their riding skills on a variety of features designed to improve balance and bike handling. Additionally, a 1.7 mile multi-use natural surface loop trail around the perimeter of Ruby Hill Park is suitable for mountain biking.

Community Garden
Ruby Hill Community Garden is part of a network of community gardens operated by the Denver Urban Gardens organization, and provides a space for community members to grow their own fresh produce, learn about gardening, and connect with other gardeners in the neighborhood. The garden is located at 1500 S. Osage Street, Denver CO 80223 on the corner of Mexico Ave and Pecos St in Ruby Hill Park, and is designed in the shape of a circle to match the sundial motif throughout the rest of the park. It was first established in 2012 and has 56 plots.

Sanderson Gulch Trail
Sanderson Gulch Trail is a popular hiking and biking trail in Ruby Hill. The trail is approximately 3 miles long and follows Sanderson Gulch Creek through a scenic ravine throughout the neighborhood. It is a popular destination for local residents and visitors alike, offering a peaceful escape from the city and opportunities for recreation and exercise.
The trail is relatively easy and offers gentle terrain, making it suitable for a variety of skill levels. Along the way, hikers and bikers can enjoy the natural beauty of the area, including views of the surrounding mountains, the creek and its tributaries, and the diverse plant and animal life that call the area home.
